The Tecnomais maize cutterbar with 8 rows and 70 cm row spacing. – The Tecnomais 8-row maize cutterbar with a row spacing of 70 cm is a highly productive cutterbar that ensures a trouble-free harvesting process with minimum losses, shreds the leaf mass and has the following advantages:

• Row mechanism

Thanks to the long rollers, the stalk is pulled through more slowly, ensuring maximum harvesting without losses. The cutterbar hoods have a low profile. This design allows efficient harvesting of fallen maize and guarantees good ground clearance even under difficult harvesting conditions.

• Receiving rollers

The rollers are equipped with two bearings and are connected to the main gearbox via a grinding unit. As standard, the rollers are equipped with 4 longitudinal knives for the entire length of the roller and 4 additional knives for half of the roller length.

• Horizontal shredder

Free access to the shredder components and the possibility to disconnect them separately. The placement and radius of rotation of the knives covers the cutting area well. The shredder itself is thoughtfully protected and integrated in the frame. The friction clutch ensures reliability and the best possible shredding.

• Main gearbox

The gearboxes are equipped with a direct drive or direct gear that replaces a hex shaft or bevel gear.

• Sunflower harvesting kit

The TECNOMAIS maize cutterbar can be converted into a fully-fledged sunflower cutterbar (optional).
